Good nutrition is just as important for our mental health as it is our physical health. At Boiling Wellness we try to give our group members the tools to help enable them to consume a more balanced diet. Many people with mental health issues struggle with self-care, motivation, weight issues linked to medication and often have a very tight budget. We recognise that baby steps towards the end goal of a healthier diet makes long term change a lot more achievable for our members. We enable group members to gradually build up their involvement in food preparation and expand their knowledge and experience of good nutrition at their own pace without being judgemental about existing diet choices (especially biscuits; biscuits are welcome here!).
